Maple Grove Township is partnered with the Village of Kaleva for Planning and Zoning.
Joint Planning Commission office is located at 9208 Kauko St.
Maple Grove Township Board Meetings
2nd Monday of each month at 6 pm

Maple Grove Township offers a Spring and Fall large item cleanup where larger items such as TVs, mattresses, furniture, etc. can be taken. This service is for residents of Maple Grove Township and the Village of Kaleva. The Spring cleanup occurs the third Saturday in May from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. The Fall cleanup occurs the third Saturday in September from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Tires are NOT allowed.

Maple Grove Township supports the Manistee Recreation Association (MRA). Any child or adult from Maple Grove Township, including the Village of Kaleva, can get a discounted rate for their participation.
​
Land split applications may be picked up at the Maple Grove Township hall or we can fax or email a copy to you. No parcel may be created smaller that five (5) acres.
